Instead you'll find yourself going through the same cycle of maps in the same order no matter which side, Axis or Allies, wins. Theoretically losing in one map could affect the outcome of where you go next, but unfortunately the game isn't designed that way. Most of the modes like stopwatch, last man standing, and single map objective are pretty typical fare, but the campaign mode not only allows you to build experience between maps but also has a bit of a storyline that strings the whole thing together. So the longer you live the better you'll be at killing, building, and blowing things up. What makes this first-person shooter so unique is that your character will earn skill points and level up in abilities throughout a match or campaign. ![]() In ET you get to choose from a handful of the typical modes of play to gun it out with your friends. The other surprising thing about ET is that it's a spectacularly fun game to play.ĮT uses the quite stable and always enjoyable Return to Castle Wolfenstein engine, graphics and sounds and then pumps it up a notch by making it not just multiplayer, but uniquely multiplayer. In other words all you have to do is download this 275 Meg file and play to your heart's content.
